Sugar-Free Baked Apple

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, cored
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Dash of cloves
  • Small pinch of salt
  • Powdered Stevia, to taste

Directions

  1. Place cored apple in a small casserole dish.
  2. Squeeze lemon juice inside and around apple.
  3. Mix cinnamon, clove, salt and stevia in small bowl and sprinkle inside and around apple.
  4. Top with lemon zest.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Let stand for 5 minutes and serve.
